And how long will it take to pay for the car discount scheme? Also is there not a new Rubber farmer one off payment just made?

This is a real Albatross around the neck of the Thai economy. They did not just wreck the Thai rice market but the world market. Truly real incompetence. Just mix a bit of corruption in and "Voila" The perfect storm.

How did it wreck the world rice market?

If you are a buyer it didn't.

If you are a seller (apart from a Thai seller) it didn't.

I believe the Indians did very well. As did other producers -Cambodia - VietNam for example.
