Surin Legend
Took the Mrs. in for her 5 year drivers license Renewal. Booked appointment through their online appointment WWW.dlt.go.th app smartphone listed as DLT Smart Queue on Google Play. Then scheduled Education requirement online accessing www.dlt-elearning.com. . It was in the Thai language, She listen for about an hour +++ . We booked the appointment in Prasat, the DLT office for our address.
Mrs. was told by a Surin Thai Government worker no appointments were available in Surin for license renewal for two months ?

Online scheduling and education made the renewal easier. DLT computer system went down right before physical testing, stoped everything.
We arrived Prasat office before they open at 8:30 am , In the queue or line of individuals going in to the office when it opened, About 15-20 minutes later Sweet- Sour came out, She was told process required a doctors certificate.
Back to Prasat, got the certificate quickly. Back to DLT , started the process again. She was not told of the computer system is down in a timely manner, of course they were expecting it back momentarily (Thailand) She came back in about an hour to our vehicle.
We left came back about 11:30 am +, Computer system was up and the rest of the process went quick.
Just thought I'd share this info, might help future victims.

Yes, I feel very comfortable with my wife driving at 100 kph, even 120 kph for that matter. The only provision I would make, I hope I am not in the car when she does so. Seriously, I feel she is a confident and safe driver behind the wheel of her car. I taught her to drive some 15 years ago and her driving skills have developed over time. :) :) :)

I feel safer in the truck when my wife's driving than I do if I'm driving myself!

I taught her to drive in an automatic car , Purchased a manual PU truck, She's very Shy on driving it. So the answer would be NO.
I am In the process of teaching her to drive the 6 Speed Nissan little steps at a time. She'll be driving in the rural areas before we attempt any city driving, No BKK. Just making preparations for the future when the lottery comes our way. Oops maybe I'm stepping on my own toe, Barefoot and pregnant ?

currently sitting at Surin Land Transport with gf while she renews her bike license. No appointments were booked and there was no queue. She had completed watching the video online and paid 20 baht for a medical cert. All finished collecting the new card now. Taken about 40 mins.
