What is, in my opinion, the best noodle shop in town has moved. For many years it has been based on the pavement outside the Koncept Furniture store across the road from the Thong Tharin entrance.
The building was vacated recently and now stands forlorn....Koncept have moved to new premises I believe.
The A1 noodle stand has moved about 80 metres south and has upgraded its facilities in the process....it now has a hong nam for customers! The staff, the food and the prices are the same as ever. My own favourite, sen lek tom yam moo daeng phiset, is 40 baht.
The only downside to this move is that they are now a little further away from the 7-11 where I buy the Leo to accompany the noodles! A minor inconvenience.
