BACK UP ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Hi. We get so many power cuts where I live it is unreal. They often don’t last too long but they are very disruptive, and unwelcome. I have therefore decided we need a back up power supply especially when the really hot weather arrives over the next few months. I don’t want a whole house solution just enough power for our bedroom to act as a cool retreat with air conditioning for when the outage occurs. I also keep my medication cool in the bedroom fridge. It is intended to also keep the internet router supplied as well.
Whilst I have had a quote for solar power and battery back up it is prohibitive. After consulting with AI we have come up with an alternative cheaper plan for a lithium ion battery back up, with a pure sine wave converter to come into play in a power cut. The system will be kept topped up by the grid at minimal cost when it’s not required.
Has anybody else gone down this route? Either way, if someone knows of any local firms who might be able to do the job I would appreciate it. I didn’t want to go down the route of a generator because I don’t want to be getting up in the middle of the night to switch it on or bothering with maintenance etc. Regards
.
