Makro here have an ok bakery in town and Big C in Pattaya Klang have a really good bakery under the supervision
of a youngish farang baker-- my favorite is their Pannini's--they make a great burger bun when toasted.

I have a friend here in Rattanaburi. His wife has a small food shop and people have been asking her for burgers.
Perhaps it is because he is Australian.
They don't like the Macro buns
And would like to try a small private bakery

I don't particularly like Makro burger buns either, but we had to use them when we had Coffee Corner.......Big C were even sweeter.

Nookie used to deliver some great 'soft baps' (from Continental bakery I believe).

Yes, there is stuff all mark up on a a range of these products.
Living in Patts, we are spoiled for choice with a range of artisan breads, my two favorites are, Pannini and sour dough buns.
