To save people 'linking', the increased fees are effective from 1st October

Since they have reduced the passport fee so much they have to recoup the loss somewhere else. Foreigners are always a good place to start.

Actually since lot of the **** and illegal teachers have departed they are not getting the numbers.

Actually that is not correct as the passport fees of 4 USD are only for immigrant workers who never could afford a 130 usd pp before and educational students.

Will these fees now be enforced at the border crossings I wonder, or will everyone as usual be asked for extra dollars, or payment in baht only!
