Just opened, on the corner of Thetsaban 1 Road, just before the hospital (almost opposite Sydney's) on the former Lady Gaga site. Nice lunch today, with a big range of dim sum and other tasty dishes with a Chinese rather than Thai taste. Reasonable prices. Aircon and very clean. More staff than customers though!

M, do you know if this franchise location is open 24 hours like their Ekamai location ?

They are planning to open at 6 am and close at 10 pm.

The dim sum had a real variety of flavours. from the fairly band to quite spicy - but I only tried three different types including squid (which they wrongly described as cuttlefish) in a very spicy sauce, plus some bbq'd pork in afairly rish sauce. I also had some of MBH's flat soft noodle "rolls" containing veg in a lovely sauce, and egg noodles with red pork. All very different flavours - especially for PN :sunglasses:

Thanks Merlin for the info. I have never seen more than 3/4 varieties and that is what I based my comments on.

A better idea of whats on offer can be seen on their main web page....http://www.chokdeedimsum.com/en/..

Love the Dim Sum for breakfast. Good to see the early opening hours.

Thanks, Merlin. I'll have to check this out. I like Dim Sum for breakfast. Maybe tomorrow morning I'll see how early I can swing by there. Love that they have air con as well. :)

The f**kers. Went there today at 9 a.m. and they were closed with a sign in Thai on the door. Everyone must be still away partying for Songkran, or they all have hangovers. Will try again tomorrow morning.

Apologies for the slight high jacking of the thread but if your ever in Sisaket, Hong Kong Garden also does Dim Som for breakfast

I'm not sure that I will be welcome.

I'm a bit hit and miss with dim sum. The chief accountant's very pretty secretary in Bangsar, Malaysia liked it so I made an effort there. Also Chinese friends in KL would occasionally invite me for dim sum breakfast on a Sunday. I cannot remember ever eating it in Shanghai.

Really decent change of pace with a Cantonese flair 50 metres from Ruampaet Hospital heading towards Sirindhorn School on Tessaban 1.
Adventurous franchise opened by nice couple. English menu available if you aren't with your translator.
