In a dramatic turn of events, a high-speed chase unfolded as law enforcement pursued and arrested a man and woman, seizing 90,000 methamphetamine pills near Khao Phra Wihan National Park.

Khao Phra Wihan National Park borders Cambodia. There are black army, (Thai Border Rangers) checkstops and the national park is out of the way, it's an odd place to be packing.

I was there 3 weeks ago and whilst the cliffs and view over Cambo are nice, you cannot get any nearer than about 3k from the temple. A complete waste of time IMO!
Also all the razor wire isn't exactly a tourist attraction either!

It is just a matter of time before access to the temple will be permitted from the Thai side. It is almost a year since the friendly military sport competition between Thailand, Cambodia and Laos was held at Rajabaht University in Ubon Ratchatani was held. The games forged closer bonds amongst the competitors using the "international language of sport".
