Out of curiousity @Cent is there a mandatory vaccination plan now in place for all vendors, servers and restaurant employees ?

You've mentioned this important forward operational component as necessary regarding your own establishment.
I was wondering how 'required vaccination' fits into the Surin restaurant and bar scene in advance of openings.

No.

Nothing is required. Nothing mandatory that I have heard at least.

We wanted it done, vaccines, to protect ourselves and protect our customers.

We want to be able to show we are vaccinated for the comfort of our customers peace of mind and safety.

Ask around among your friends, younger and older, ask if they have been vaccinated. I am seeing very few not wanting the vaccines. But for now there is no way to know for certain. I would certainly avoid certain establishments where the staff and owners are not vaccinated if I knew it to be true. And, why not ask the proprietors and staff if they've been vaxxed yet? Let them know your custom would be more likely, and more often, if you knew if all staff have been double vaccinated.

Our place has all of us with our 2 vaccines. Will likely go for boosters as well in January.

It would be nice if they would give percentages of jabs, 1st and both, by Provinces. At least we could see how close each are to 70% and above for 1st and 2nd jabs in our areas. Would be nice to have the info along with the infection numbers up or down to make decisions based on one's comorbidities and and possible exposure rates.
