Last but not least .
The client had a deep water pump and I had a shop from Surin set up this system for them .
Its a submersible pump with a pressure tank on top then two filters \tank and a pump to feed the house .
The water is now very clean of salts and calcium and wont rot the taps sinks toilets and so on .

And to thank we were going to send out a search party for you. The houses look fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Alan
What do you mean by cavity wall? Is this double wall, something like that. The bay window and some other pictures indicate something "different", please explain.

Thanks

Cavity means its a double wall with a gap in-between each wall ,works a bit like a thermos flask - Q-con are also good .
The bay windows was the clients idea , as was the low wall in the living room and the open kitchen .

Looks like a lovely house well built...

...Will be in touch when we move back up...

Did you like the bay windows Ray ?

I think house design is a personal thing and the bay windows make an attractive change to the normal 'box'.

That said, I personally wouldn't bother. I have had houses in the UK with bay windows and you would invariably use them to sit in to look outside. I cannot see me ever wanting to do that in Thailand - you would have a balcony or terrace. I think Colin and Wood have theirs as a design feature rather than for practical use. Also, the window sills looked attractive.

I would not bother with either because I imagine that the additional costs would be disproportionate to the benefits - for me.

It is personal taste that dictates the extent of the extras - I would try and keep them down.

Were both inner and outer walls Qcon or grey block ?

Bay windows and a windowsill. Excellent. Never mind CoCo that you do not want. The pets (cats and dogs) love it! They can watch the worms turn in the garden!

Collins house in the UK had bay windows and Wood like them and wanted the same over here , so there we are .
To be honest my house in the UK has a bay window in the upstairs bedroom and it is very nice.
ThumbUp6

'twas a first for my window man , I had to design the lay out then he took over with his input and all was well .

In your case Ray it would of been an extra ,as we would have needed to add extra footings to hold your weight if you wanted to use them as seating lol lol
