I think it would be interesting if you could read the whole book! It doesn't seem, however, to refer to the large non-Thai minorities such as the Khmer and the various hilltribes.

Yes it may not specificly deal with hill tribes and such, but it does show the starting points of Thailand, where it leads out into the essential roads of understanding modern day Thailand! The Vietnamese and Japanese are not mentioned f.ex .Yes .But apparently that has little to do with how Thailand was structured and build up during early times! I found the page enlightning, because it showed me the ground base of Thailand .I think it is a good start of knowledge for anyone, who wants to learn (and add more knowledge) to this country he loves and thinks to know!
