I remember these anti hippie laws. They were enacted all the way back in the early 70's. I am sure a lot of these types have no idea these laws are still in effect all over south east Asia. The most severe ones being in Singapore. Where they used to demand men cut their hair. I think that this is relaxed now. I remember a few years back my neighbor was a Katoey that used to sell his/her wares in Singapore on a regular basis. Her biggest fear was not being arrested for such an offense, but they would cut his/her hair after arrest.
