Sakon Nakhon is to the northeast and the recent outbreak of Covid-19 was in Samut Sakhorn in the southwest (near Bangkok). I am now confused?

Sakhon Nakhon in the north east is the well known dog eating province.

It is damned well hilarious how all the Thais and me too. When you meet somebody from there you automatically say, "Ah ha dog eater huh" They always roll their eyes. They must be so sick of it. Did it only recently on my last trip to Bangkok.
