Yup, the big new places killed it pretty much over the ensuing years.Business is slow if there is that much space in the car park. In days gone by the car park was always bursting at the seams.

I thought Chester's Chicken sucked myself. We did use the bowling alley some back then. Was sorry to see it go. They had some good snacks there, great chicken wings at the bowling alley. Was never too impressed with Chesters Grill too but the Bowling Alley was something different. Both now long gone, so I hear!!
I used to go to the upstairs area in Petch Plaza where they had some good electronics/computer gear on sale and computer repair as well up there. Haven't been there is a dog's age. I wonder what is up there these days.Business is slow if there is that much space in the car park. In days gone by the car park was always bursting at the seams.

Strange thing is Petch Plaza is dead these days, yet Surin Plaza still does a good business. Used to love the HotPot in there and was sad to see it move away. KFC there still does a good business, and last time I was there the Pizza Connection was doing well.Business is slow if there is that much space in the car park. I used to use the barber shop there long long ago. On the corner by the parking area entrance, just after The Bowl restaurant. (Used to meet Bear there for some beers and a bite to eat, as they had air con.) Found out quickly that the women cutting hair were horrible there, but there was one lone old guy that gave a decent cut and actually listened to what you wanted.Business is slow if there is that much space in the car park. In days gone by the car park was always bursting at the seams.
