It is pretty close translation of the Thai script letter to letter, So you cannot blame the girl.
The Thai actually says "Fresh orange and lemonade". English transliterated into Thai script.

Oh and Orang in Bahasan means "Man" and Orang utan means Man of the jungle. Sorry for being pedantic and ruining the joke.
I know I should not let the truth get in the way of a good story, but it had a fair run.

Better spread the word Rice. Rob will be very pleased to have hoards of Thai women customers looking for a "Fresh Man"

It won't be Thai women looking for the Fresh man it would be Indonesian and Malay women.

Not a problem - ASEAN is almost upon us and Thailand has yet to be excluded.

    Is
Is it not true that member countries of ASEAN must have a democratically elected government?

Yet another thread wandering away from the topic!

    That looks good.

(Although not sure what the runny egg police may have to say).

Surely that is "holy basil". Its the chillies that make it hot.

    Pad Krapow.

I use basil in tomato sauce for steak. I would say it gives it a "warm" taste.

This is the one I use:

My son lives on Pad Krapow - the wife cooks it every day, and does he like it hot! He's even had the hospital cooking it for him specially the last fortnight - makes a change from Khao Tom - the normal hospital food.

I have spent one night in hospital in Thailand (for no apparent reason). They gave me khao tom. Apparently with pork but I never discovered any. Anyway, my wife was kind enough (after much persuasion) to fetch a carry out of Archa which stove off the hunger.

we grow our own basil also Yorky, 2 varieties however the wife is the expert on that. (she tells me some people call holy basil Hot basil I am not going to argue with her)
we also grow our own lemon grass, coriander, morning glory, long beans, limes and banana's, I have tried tomatoes but not successfully yet.

we try to use as much as our home grown as we can as they are fresher and we do not use any chemicals or pesticides.
