Just did a visit to the Royal Thai Embassy Consular Office in DC. This office is about 2 mile from the Thai Embassy. It was a 45 minute taxi ride from my sisters home and only 40 USD each way. The taxi even waited for us for no charge, was only inside for about 15 minutes. I was shocked when the lady said I could pick up my O-Multi based on marriage this Wednesday , I was expecting 5 business days . Side note. Only Royal Thai Consular Offices in Washington D.C. ,New York City, Chicago and Los Angles are authorized to issue O- Multi's in the USA all other so called Honorary Consular offices such as Boston and Portland have been cut off for this visa. I shall post more info after I pick up my passport.
Just a small question GL. Why did you bother with the extra expense of a "Multi"?
Just asking as you are normally on a 12 month extension. Do you plan a few border hops and can't be bothered getting reentry permits?

Mrs. GL's 10 year visa for the USA expired on June 5 2017. As long as she presented herself at custom 1 minuet before midnight on June 5 she would be given a 6 months enter. My marriage extension expired May 19 2017. The kicker was with a marriage extension you always have that 30 day under consideration period and no way was Surin Immigration able to by pass it. Being so if I had of renewed MY extension it would of taken me to June 19 some 14 days pass Mrs. GL's expiration dated of her US visa. So since we were going to be staying only 16 miles from the Thai Embassy it was a no brainer on how to pull this off. We entered the USA May 16 and she was given a 6 months entry. Getting an O multi based on marriage in DC is no problem. BTW that trip yesterday into DC was our first this visit and NO we did not see the CHUMP HOUSE. Total time took 1 hour 45 minutes, 1 hour and 30 minutes of that was traffic.
Mission accomplished. Was able to get my PP at 10:30 am, 30 minuets before their official pick up time. I give the Royal Thai Embassy Counselor Office in Washington D.C. two thumps up. Spent the rest of the day on the mall from the Lincoln Memorial to the US Capital. BTW that's a three km walk in 100 F heat and 80% humidity.
