Sisaket Rambutan & Durian Festival 2015 / 2558

The Rambutan & Durian Festival is this year together with the Si Sa Ket Asean Fair from the 19. -25. June

Somethings up with the current crop of Durian this year. Last year it was absolutely delicious, this year not so much.

Apart from rambutans and durian, would the ASEAN Trade Fair be worth a drive to Sisaket?

This past weekend brought a load up from Rayong with a load of pineapples to plant.

Now that's some load of pineapple. Are you planning on cornering the market GL?

I normally see these loads going to feed local elephants. Did you steel an elephants lunch?

Honestly.......... No. It's an OK afternoon out. Good for buying plants too. I have been a couple of times because it's on my "doorstep" but would not go if it was (say) 110k away

SHMBO is. BTW not my choice but it and a few others were free so I had to be nice to the host and partake.

SWMBO, as opposed to GL's SHMBO, guess he spells 'who' different to me, has had this trip on her agenda for quite a long time. Many thanks for the info I will pencil the dates in my diary.
