Thanks for the conflicting feelings now @CO-CO . It was a nice way for The Kui people to celebrate their culture.
No Elephants were hurt. Well kind off that is. I have a friend who is a Crocodile specialist zoologist. He explained to me many years ago.
Because the way human nature is, The only way to be able to keep animals in the wild and in captivity was commercialization. Every animal in the world needs a dollar value.
Otherwise they will be wiped out. Its all sad, but true.

Back 1997 on first trip to the LOS I was setting at the Golden Beer Bar. When an elephant backed up to elbow bar just to right of the entrance/ I was setted on the last stoole on the extrem left. When I saw this screamed out the shit is going to hit fan. That elephant cut two loads that chased all the customers out of the bar. BTW the loads were a direct hit on 2 customers. Fork the mahout.
