The house we are building in Surin. Tricky build as the house takes up almost all of the land .It's a type of wrap around courtyard house .starting price around 4.8 mil but there will be lots of extras plunge pool steam room central air kitchens .The window glass in laminated 6mm green glass very costly unbreakable and cool.

is there DPC in the first layer of blocks alan.

Lovely roof style, there's alot of steel in that one.

Over here we don't build the same as in the UK mate .
In the UK and some parts of euro they build out o the ground with ether trench blocks or concrete bricks ( commons ) they add DPC at floor level then change to face bricks .
Over here we come out on columns tuese sit on a footing pad then we build off a ring beam , whoever we do add a waterproofing compound to the ring beam just to be sure .
I will add some footing detail pics latter once I get home .

I guess you designed the house and used a professional architect to draw it up.
