Go ahead kidz...explain to the most important people in your Thai life as to why saving money should be front and center for bettering their (or their family's) future , (particularly if their family has never been involved in the practice of saving).
Then inquire of them as to why they haven't saved, can't save or don't save.

If you proceed past the "no one knows when they're going to die"/ " no one knows what will happen tomorrow" ; then consider yourself lucky.

The truth is, if they have you - they have their savings.
Possibly they haven't, can't or don't know how to express that thought honestly and truthfully into words.
No worries - they still love you Daddy.
