Yesterday afternoon I had a call that immigration officers were going to come to my house,
The officer, I spoke to had English skills to communicate they were coming.
I wanted to speak to my wife, but she was not home.
Two immigration officer showed up, wanted to see my passport, check my temporary one year visa extension and 90 day report paper.
No drama !
This is about one week after,
First week in March I had a visit from one police officer from Prasat.
Wife had a call from the village government worker a police officer was coming to come to see me.
Evidently immigration called him to check on me as I was the only US citizen living in the subdistrict .
He was a young guy (most people seem young to me now) pleasant enough with no English skills.
I joked with him, put my wrists together in front of me and said no grey bar hotel, which was translated, he chuckled.
Officer took some photos of the Mrs. and me together, the three of us together and Etc.
