New passport, Have to do first 90 day by taking it into immigration ?

Multi entry NON OA - re-entered via Lao in July, and have to make 90 report in October - Visa is valid until October.
Have to make exstension in July 2027

So, with the O-A visa you don't have to leave Thailand every 90 days?

That is a significant variation to the old multiple entry Non-Inn O visa that I had..... with that visa you had to exit the Kingdom every 90 days (which meant that you never had to do a 90 day report.

AI offered me this answer..

Yes, Thailand Non-Immigrant O-A visa holders must report their current address to immigration every 90 days if they stay in the country consecutively for more than 90 days. [1, 2]

Key Facts About 90-Day Reporting
    • Purpose: It is an address confirmation and residency check, not a visa renewal.
    • Timeline: You must report every 90 days from your last entry date or last report. The window to file is usually within 15 days before or 7 days after the due date. Leaving and re-entering Thailand before 90 days resets the count.
    • Form: The official notification uses the TM.47 form. [1, 2, 3]

How to File Your Report
    • In Person: Visit your local Immigration Office with your passport and the TM.47 form.
    • By Mail: Send the required documents and a self-addressed stamped envelope to your local office ahead of the deadline. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Registered On-line at Immi - worked OK
Applied via TM47 - here is the reply

our application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.

For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.

I am still trying to get my head around how I did not do an in present 90 day report. Was the 90 day report done when I returned 1 month later immi to get my full extension of stay after the pending period. It was never mentioned.
When I did ask the IO at that visit he just said "all is fine just report in 90 days online". Which I did.

Oh what ever......

I suspect that you were not yet in the system; you didn't have an extension at that time so you were not subject to 90 day reporting.

I can't remember if I asked when, and how, you last entered.

You did ask, check back in the thread.

Like I said, What ever. Most likely change next entry any way. While Anutin is PM it is open season on foreigners.
Does not matter if you commit misdeeds or not. All foreigners are dirty **** bags that need to be dealt with.

Nice rant, but I am happy to take a bet on NOTHING changing by the time of your next entry.

Anutin might be an abrasive dickhead but I believe that he is only continuing the policy of "Good guys in, bad guys out".

Personally, I enjoy seeing a firm stance on Immigration - something my home country is incapable of doing.
