90-day report and extensions

I guess you will have to leg it to KC then. :) :) :)

Not I. Mine isn't due until the beginning of April. We did Danny's yesterday morning but because the site is down, I cannot obtain confirmation of acceptance. He's good for another week or so anyway.

No, I tried registering once and stumbled when the system didn't like my (CORRECT) flight number or something like that, so I gave up and reverted back to a 10 minute scooter ride to the IO.

You don't actually 'register'; you access the website and input your key details each time. Although the book of words states 15 day before, up to the reporting date, it is actually 14 calendar days i.e. report date of 28th can be done from the 14th onwards..

Are expats on a WORK Visa allowed to register their 90-day notification of address online ?

If you had a visa you wouldn't be doing 90 day reporting....

Okay...can expats with a one year extension based on a Work Permit (ie: teacher) notify Immigration with their 90-day reporting requirement online ?

90-day Reporting

When on a Thai Work Permit you must continue to report your current address to a Thai immigration office every 90 days. This can be done three ways:
  • In person at a Thai immigration office.
  • By mail.
  • Through an agent who has the Power of Attorney to report your status.
If you are not in Thailand on the date your 90-day reporting is due, you do not need to report your status. Your 90-day reporting will begin again from day 1 once you re-enter Thailand.

Thank you @nomad97
So obviously Ivor couldn't/ wouldn't be able to go online according to your post.

That is the implication but, then again, TIT.

I don’t know one way or the other. When is anything logical here?
They seem less interested in my address because of the one on my WP. Twice I have tried to inform them of address changes and they don’t seem to be very interested at all.

Plus the forth way by reporting online. I appreciate that this is not available to you @nomad97

Read this today:

"Here I am just back from 90 day report in Phetchabun.

Offered him the old 90 day report and copies of the "pending page" from online submission and the "e-mail" approval, he requested my passport, in the same breath acknowledged the online was down, Bangkok was working on it and hazarded it would probably a month before it's back."

Wonderful people the Romans!

Have just heard that a Buriram expat took up my suggestion that he went to immigration locally without his passport (which is in Bangkok for renewal purposes) and asked whether he could do his 90 day report with just a photocopy and the 90 day paper.. No problems and he is now good for a further 90 days.

Nick, on the subject of extensions and passport renewals, I have a couple of questions. My annual extension to the visa is due on 30th December 2021. My 10-year passport expires on 27 October 2022. Should I renew my passport 1 year early, say October 2021, in order to obtain the full 12-month extension in December? Alternatively, should I seek an extension on my existing passport even though it will expire 10 months later on 27th October 2022? Would Immigration extend the validity the following year and transfer to the new passport in 2022?
