90 day report. chong chom

Deerculler

Surin relic
Went to Chong Chom today for my 90 day report. Arrived 9.30am in and out in a few minutes. very quite. Mainly Farang Tourists coming through from Cambodia.

I also did my 90 day report this week, but in Pattaya (5 minutes).

I am staying here for a month before returning to Surin and just took along my hotel form (in Thai) which stated that I was staying there during the period that I had to register. No problem.

The last 90 day report I did in Bangkok (I have a condo) and took along my electricity bill with my name on it.

In February I intend to visit Chong Chom and will wait inanticipation if it will be hassle free. "INSHALLAH"!

everytime I have been there to do 90 days am back on the same mini bus coming back to surin.. 20mins tops

No, its at Chon Chom Border, go speak to the guy at the exit(left) side and he will take you into the little office to complete your form. I usually prepare my TM47 beforhand.

If you have transport issues, I am also due to go +or-7 days from 5Dec and you are welcome to a free lift there.

Rick,
If you are just going to give your 90 day report and receive your new 90 day authorization, just go to the entrance gate on the Thai side prior to entering Cambodia and they will issue it there or send you over to the little office on the right (depending on how busy they are.)

Thanks for the insight, Dave.

Did mine there yesterday, drove right up to the office, disregarded all the cabdrivers/cambodians doing their 'Casino' business, left the car running with AtD inside and in and out within a couple of minutes. No tea money requested.

Back in 3 months.

My partner did mine today as usual. But he was told, "Tell him to come himself next time!" So I have to recheck the question of proxy reporting next time when I go to do my annual extension at Chok Chai in March.

Yes, I know, Dave... Chok Chai is just the nearest place I could remember the name of. Turn right at the Chok Chai intersection, about 12 kms, do a U-turn, turn left into Dan Kwian, and shortly turn right.

BTW, the post you referred me to talks about the Choc Chai border crossing... but I think everyone knows it's Chom Chong by now.
