Advice on a via issue please.

I have applied for a 60 day tourist visa to visit Thailand in Nov, and will be staying at our house in Buriram for the duration of our trip, 89 days in total, 60 days on the visa, and extended for 30 at immigration office. I have received an automated reply from the Embassy in London saying I need an invitation letter from the people who live at the house, in this case my brother and sister in law.
But the house is actually owned by my wife who will be travelling with me.
Should I get my wife to write a letter explaining this? Or should I just get the brother and sister in law to write an invitation letter? It just seems ludicrous that I am having to get an invitation letter to the house that I built and paid for, and have spent every winter there since 2009 apart from the Covid years. Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
 
I have just extended my tourist visa 30 days. But booked a hotel for my first 2 nights they didn't ask for any more information. Hotel checked me on and did the usual passport photo at check in. Then when I extended at lap choeng the were super helpful just my passport a photo ( they did all the forms 2400baht) my partner's ID card and blue/yellow book. The extra baht was because I hadn't registered earlier as staying there. Not sure if that helps but immigration were super friendly and helpful.
 
As Mike says, just supply what they asked for.........they won't issue the visa without.


For my Non-Inn O I was asked for 3 months bank statements showing pension income. Irrelevant, I had already shown money in the bank.

As my wife is the legal owner of the house, and my sister and brother in law are just basically full time caretakers, should I then get my wife to write the letter?

Why not, there is only one legal owner.

Frankly, @mahdam they probably won't care who signs it. I would probably copy her ID card/House book and write on it "This note serves as my invitation for my husband, Mr Mahdam, to stay with me at the above address"
