SWMBO has added another 400 chicks. 200 white and 200 mixed. She has over another 200 chicks in different stages and 5 chicken house in operation. She informed me a short time back that the lady who operated the chicken nursery at the Surin Livestock Breeding and Research Center Na Bua Surin Thailand on the 214 had stop the project of breeding and selling chicks, no reason given. So she has been in a serious clean up and revamp mode about at the ranch with some improvements in the works AND in about 6 months when these chicks are matured she is planing on bringing her commercial incubator back online. It seems that she may have some local government support on this. The photos are not best but thats what you get..

Official. SWMBO says 250 per 6 wheeler, this is with NO tractor, we have our own. 330 per load with tractor. This is KC price yours maybe different. I know for a fact its 800 per truck in Chiang Mai.

Just returned with 8 bags of soybean curd @ 20 kilo each. The curd is the residue from pressing the soybean to make milk. SWMBO has a good friend by the CC market and she gets a load like this once a week FREE. She will spread it out to dry before mixing it with other goodies for her flock. FYI when drying it smells like a distillery the fermentation of this curd is second to none and there will be some very happy chickens at tonights Chicken Ball.

So this added stanky cranky curd surely must be lovely as an addition.
