CRU has grown to 3 projects in Kap Choeng. We have the first one with 81 heifers. SWMBO is somewhat slow on info at times but...:D We visited CRU2 about 4km from us this afternoon and I saw for the first time their operation very much like ours but with one small difference..they have 150 heifers. SWMBO says yes and a short ways away another project is going in #3 with another 150 heifers AND we aka her, are getting another 69 heifers to bring CRU1 to 150:eek::eek:. I said where are they going to build the barn;) She says somewhere. She told me she has turned down any more heifers at this moment as she has a full plate with 7 from the DLS and her personal 8. The 7 of the project 3 have been knocked up and two of her personal have buns in the oven. She know she has to get her private barn expansion completed for the population explosion thats coming. Do the math gentleman..thats 450 heifers and materials that the office here in Kap Choeng of The Department of Livestock and Development have invested in KC. Side note. The DLS in KC has its own full time university graduated veterinarian who is uncharge of the health of the heifers which all medical cost for the project is free as for personal heifers he does charge like 70 baht per injection for health reason which the wife has used a few times on her stock. And the knock up fee is 500 baht where for the project its free. He also does vaccination and health check on all animals as we have used him for the dogs. The vet speaks some english and has an apprentice helping him. As of this moment he seems to know his business. SWMBO has napier and sweet Israel grass growing noe from her in about a 5 km radius of the farm AND she is now selling it for growing threw all her FB contacts and with all these extra mouths to feed guess who they are coming to.:D

The Vet is in green on your left and the gentleman on the right is his apprentice. The heifer is one of SWMBO that had an infection and was given two vaccinations that I think cost 200 baht total. They did the job.

What I do know one of our very good friends and one each from the other two KC projects were sent for a two week training course by the DLSD to Surin all expensive covered. Now I know why my Lao Khoa supply was low. Details to follow.

Caught successfully ( dart rifle) and reunited with her family.:D This was from a verifiable source.:D I hop to to get another look soon.
Great result. Most tranq guns being compressed air, have a max range of about 30m.
I was using a .336 to hunt with a flat range of 400+ meters and was lucky to bring one down.:D:D:D:D
