Finally I have an workable answer to this problem that doesn't chemicals and is reliable. Essentially it is a vermicompost extract which has a shelf life of months. I have been making vermicompost and compost extracts and teas for a few years but never been able to supply small quantities for gardeners who would like to use a bit, occasionally. PROBLEM solved. Plus the damping off issue resolved. YIPPEE.
