Feeding the Ghosts...2020

The punctuation mark was to question why my wife would be preparing food for the dead if it's purely a Khmer/Laos thing.
Here's what I said:
"I think it is definitely more a Khmer thing than a Thai thing, so she's probably correct that you will find more folks in the Surin Province that follow this tradition than in Buriram"

Where did I say it's 'purely a Khmer/Laos thing' ??

Or not asking anyone in particular. I did not quote anyone.
 
I never saw my late father-in-law here drink any alcohol, and yet as preparations were being made yesterday to respect the spirits today, I could have sworn that I saw my beer and other different spirits being waltzed away to his family's home.

Another mystery for me is where the alcohol, and all the other goodies ends up.... mind you MIL has put on a few Kgs and always has a smile on her face the next day.
