**** Floater 2

Lovely weather for the ducks. Surprisingly, the rice paddies at the back of the house are not under water. The rice is standing tall although the fields do have good water too.
 
I was at Big C approx 4PM yesterday afternoon for the Toblerone chocolate sale...(200 gr B104) ;;grimace;;
Good thing Surin City did that construction last year to alleviate the potential flooding in that area.
Yup, it could have been much worse.

Yorky, did your nearby Cityland area go under ?

(Come to think about it the rain didn't start until after I left Big C. ;;unhappy;; )
 
Historically speaking last 10 years or so...is your end of the village usually dry or prone to high water after heavy rains?

Except for the September 2013 flooding, since they built the underground storage reservoir we have had very little standing water after a downpour.

[Edit: although the back garden holds water at times]

2013 BC (befor coup) Its very obvious that the money for those projects went into substandard engineering and design and went into someone pockets.
