Hydrology report for Rattanaburi, Surin

We have a well at our home near Rattanaburi, and get slightly salty, very hard water from about 40 meters deep, but only 500 liters per hour. We did a similar well out near a pond we own at our rice fields, and it's about the same. We tried getting a high tech company to drill deeper to get more water, and after going down 100 meters, they gave up. No water down there. We are making do by pumping about 4000 liters a 24 hour day into our lake to store and use to grow vegetables. It's not enough to grow rice really, and we do not have an irrigation canal near us.

We plan to try again near some other rice fields of our family near the lake, but it would seem sensible to get a hydrology report first, rather than just 'water witching'. Does anyone know how that can be done in this region?

Greetings @Mel Malinowski ...did I happen to bump into you at Makro on Wednesday ?

Just wondering although I cannot provide an answer to your inquiry above.

Check out member @Bandersnatch and his water farm build. He's the water guy here on the board. And welcome to the board, Mel.

You are in very bad area for salt water intrusion. Even the Department of Agriculture wii tell you are SOL MOVE. Our form member SURIN can tell you what happen to him.

No mention of the salt problem.

No mention of the salt problem because when Ruben tested OUR wells we didn't have a salt problem. Water can be different in in different wells. I would suggest a test drilling and getting Ruben to test the water.
