After the floods in 2013 I replaced many "wooden" (chipboard) items in my house and it cost me a pretty penny. At that time being 65 years old it was doubtful whether I would be offered work again so I was somewhat frugal and restricted the replacements to those item that had been damaged by the water. After looking at the chipboard cupboards above and adjacent to the cooker hood for 8 years I bit the bullet and ordered replacements. Unfortunately they are a slightly different colour.

    Next? A new cooker hood.

The cupboards were made to measure by an outfit in Sukhothai as was the rest of the kitchen.
