When the thumbnail open, you click on the thumbnail again, then you get a new window. In the new window you click once more and the map enlarges.

BTW those of you that have Google Earth can find photo's on there too of some of these 'eating houses.' (spot the member outside Gung Pow, you have heard of Were's Waldo, well this is 'Lookie at Lukey') :Grin_Jump1:

In time I will try to get more photo's done as its a good excuse for a ride out on my Motocy.

No 14 on this map, Plaapim Plaapow has now relocated to new and much larger premises about 100 metres along the same road towards BigC.
Its now just after the car cleaning place and still opposite to Expo market. There is better parking facilities now and its easy to find the place as it has a massive big orange fish statue in front of the restaurant.
Went to the openning party this week and the food is still good and economical. Draft Chang is still served there too.

Dave, could you email or PM the map to me. When I click the link, another old thread comes up and I could not find the thumbnail. It is probably just me following a night of extensive libations with our local Starbeam's proprietor.

The food here is very good and always consistent.

Are you still updating the map, Dave, or did you say it died in a hard-drive?
 
Darn you all I have the cartography skills to do accurate maps of everything but its a huge job as most of the google and other maps are screwy, the only good map I've seen is in the Surin Police station and (might be a better one) at the post office but they are huge things and I'd need a really good digital camera to fully get the detail which I don't have. Broken down however and simplified its better. The master map I'm working on I'm doing is in the linux drive, its the windows drive that got trashed but its about 30% complete. (try doing that kind of thing with a 1 1/2 yr child trying to help you.) So its something of a slow going, also I have no GPS reading from a lot of other major points which doesn't help and I don't have, need or want want spend money on buying one.

Maybe you should speak to Ron, as you may be duplicating efforts????
