Rather sweet, Yorky.

I think I should take up "the curl of beauty" and "the sale of every page". (What does that mean?)

That's either a really bad Google translate output or a Joke.

Bye the way what is a paper hand job. Maybe with tissue.
Without, OK , Phew.

Look at the date, Rice. Thai government publications really were that bad.

Yes quite a long time ago. The trades on the list have not changed at all though. In seriousness though if you can actually work them out. From that bad Thailish.

Thank you for this informative and mirth-generating post, Yorky.

I confess I had been thinking of starting a new career in number 20 Berth blanket mitt work.

It has long been a kind of calling for me, berth blanket mitt work; however the opportunities here in Thailand for me, as a foreigner, to follow my vocation are clearly closed. I may well have to move to another country.

I know a few farangs with the physical attributes to apply for "Job Buddha".

Sometimes I wish they wouldn't refer to us as "aliens", even if some of our Members are off the planet!

I've never felt like an alien in Thailand, though some Thais seem to think I am. I keep my antennae well hidden.

The one country in which I do feel like an alien is Japan.

Yes, it is cheaper and healthier to keep one's antenna well-hidden! I agree about Japan, too.

I felt us farangs were completely ignored when I was in Japan in December.
