I have used it coming back from Japan, worked OK gave me the TDAC I needed. would be nice to set it all up, says it will replace lots of things in immigrations but that a wait to be seen....
All of the Government online sites are for shit, worked a couple of other sites (in english) then it would not save information to submit, wife had to do it all in Thai. For the life of me I can't understand why they (immigrations) only speak Thai and web sites are in Thai when they are dealing with a foreign population.

It is not due to be "live" until October.

In the right direction. But every time it seems they just make a pile of steaming do do.
Like the first 90 day report site. You needed a certain version of Chrome to make it work.
FFS they never tested it on any other browser or version. The mind boggles. Took ages for version 2 for it to work properly and even now it locks out 25% of users.
They never port any data so all the set ups and logins are just abandoned. The third time around they are going to do the same.
Now is this new one going to be better????? It is so frustrating they fail every time.
But hang on, the all seeing financial eye is coming to track every transaction coming into Thailand to tax us all.
I bet that one will work ! Because it is "MONEY"

It won't work either. Just like their traffic tickets are not being paid by most and that's money....it's just like you said earlier, some family member's company is doing the work and they are not capable of the job...why they will always be a third world country....

Yes, first time of trying (far easier than the various Thai banking apps) - and everything else was picked up by holding the phone to my passport.
I liked the fact that I could put my July flight on there........I also received an email saying I had to make a health declaration within 72 hours of flying - I am hoping that the TDAC will be automatically generated; we will wait and see.

K Bank now requires scanning your face to authorize any single transaction of 50,000 or more, or scheduled transfers that total 50,000 or more. It didn’t work for me at first but now it works if the background is OK. A year or so ago foreigners were not allowed to do that face scan but now they are. With the yen so low right now traveling in Japan is a great deal. We’re going to spend three weeks coming down from Hokkaido to Tokyo in late September. Love the fall colors up in the Hokkaido Mountains then. Also the superb Fuji apples ripe then better than anything we can get even in Apple proud Washington State. And the outdoor onsen! Hajimemashite! Yoroshiku onegaishimasu

It worked for me too. Just have to get the lighting right (no glare) for passport identity page scan. Scan of chip was fussy. Finally got it in the middle of the back cover of USA passport, holding steady once reading began.. Added in my return to Thailand from Japan in October ok, though ‘House’ is not accepted, had to put in a hotel. Won’t allow adding my wife as Thai national (guess she doesn’t need TDAC). I’m guessing that my 10 year visa exempts me from re-registering after leaving Bangkok hotel to go to our Surin home, as it allows only reporting annually (or just leaving/returning to reset the 1 year clock)

Cut them some slack. Good apps are hard to write (I wrote and sold several in the Apple App Store in conjunction with our books, back before AI). THIM mostly is well-designed and most of it works. It’s the immigration bureaucracy that’s the problem IMHO. 90 day reporting for retirees is silly. Just let us register our Thai homes, and let hotels report us when we travel. Legitimate visaed retirees aren’t the problem.

If you go back to japan, look up Ganiba Onsen. They have a lovely outdoor mixed onsen. Very old-fashioned, charming, and quite a bargain. Ganiba Onsen

I don't think so! With all the resources they have and the money changing hands, you have to be kidding.
The true tragedy is the smart ones are pushed down the dumb ones with connections are pushed up.
I have worked for the Thai public service and The Indonesian service for that matter and they are both the same. Pathetic.!
The Thais are better by the way. The smart ones are incredibly smart and the dumb ones incredibly stupid. No in between.
It is because the smart ones fought tooth and nail to get where they were and the dumb ones were just given a seat.
The dumb ones are the bosses though.
