I remember a hail attack in Riyadh, the hail was the size of golf balls. The damage it did was incredible. Cars looked like they had been belted with hammers.

We have a car of one of my wife's friends in the front (they are resurfacing their drive). And there are trees falling. The ones where the car is should hold up.

Had that done to a Ford Pinto in 1973 crossing from Arkansa to Memphis Tn. in 73. The insurance company paid for ALL skin to be replaced.

Correct - at least on the east part - enormous wind, followed by electricity cut and thunder, but zero rain.
At least the power is back.
Bizarre.

It was heading in a north-easterly direction but the storm veered away and slipped past Surin to the east. Better luck today, tomorrow, and Wednesday.

Steve, do you have a link to those weather charts. I used to rely on Accuweather which is rarely that accurate; TMD is a bit better but still general.

I use three weather sites, Ventusky, Thai Met Dept and Windy. The latter seems to offer the best graphics though the other two sites are also good for a different perspective.
