Surin Legend
Wiser then Me,

What's the scoop on a hotels, restaurants and etc. having buffets or meals to celebrate the Thanksgiving festivities in our area.
To my knowledge there is nothing going in the proximity of SURIN city.
How about BURIRAM area ?

Doesn't have to be Thanksgiving Turkey dining, just at decent restaurant or buffet.

One with dancing girls, skin clad would be a plus, maybe I should put that on hold ?
Wife is a prude when it comes to some sightseeing. :yum:

STAREBEAMS OR RYAN'S RESORT. You'll have call.
Not Starbeam's. We stopped that a few years back. Just not enough Americans in town, price of turkey became ridiculous so price of meals had to rise, and it is a lot of work to get right for just one day. Buriram or Korat seem to be the best bet for a Turkey Day meal. Or Patts and/or Bangkok.

If one can substitute grilled pork rump, kung and lorb on Friday night for Thursday's traditional turkey , stuffing and pumpkin pie with whipped cream...then Buakaw with live music might fit the bill.

Located 200 metres southwest of DoHome...not a buffet...definitely a late night Thai crowd.
Sometimes reservations are suggested.

We do miss your old restaurant Mike !

We had thanksgiving here at the house, about 30 people (1/2 Thais) each bringing a dish and having a feast. I cooked 2 16 lb turkeys and someone brought a ham, the Thai women could not wait to take the turkey bones and make some voodoo soap batch stuff, fun to be had by all. Great day it was.
