Great song.My thinking was: "When will they ever learn?"
Good question. From the recent forum at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT) with senior Thai immigration officials present on the panel:Colin W- re your post earlier today(1800 hrs) - Didn t you both recently travel to the Uk for a holiday & return back to Surin. Didn t you or Wood submit a TM30 on your return?

I recently changed my address and notified Immigration at Kap Cheong. But it a permanent change.
Good question. From the recent forum at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT) with senior Thai immigration officials present on the panel:
On the books for 40 years but not rigorously enforced until March 25 this year, under the 1979 Immigration Act, the TM30 rule requires Thai landlords who provide accommodation to foreigners to report their presence to immigration within 24 hours of their arrival and departure.

Yes.That would be a TM28.
The TM30 rule requires Thai landlords who provide accommodation to foreigners to report their presence to immigration within 24 hours of their arrival and departure. If one is legally married to a Thai is your spouse a landlady as well as a wife or a husband? Personally, I think this a mute point. I do not consider my wife to be my landlady too. She is my wife.

He may post his experience later, but I was speaking to Alan the Builder earlier as he has just been to Surin Immigration to get an address certification for renewal of his driving licences.
Did he happen to mention whether he had had any luck obtaining medical insurance for his visa?
Got one ready to use this week but went in last time with just a yearly rental agreement form. They weren’t at all interested. Told me that it’s not my responsibility.Yes.

Our office has doubled in size (2 unit)with the original space now being used for the ‘investigation team’ (Jackboot & Tottenkopf badges optional).Same as Surin Immigration. I visited them last Monday to do my 90 day report. The visitor parking spaces were fully occupied with cars and I feared the worst and a long wait. I parked in the lane outside and walked in. Apart from the boss man I did not recognise any familiar faces, every desk was occupied, maybe 7 or 8 immigration officers or assistants. There were two or 3 people on the 'customer' side, all doing their 90 day reports as it transpired. I was No. 4 in-line and did not have long to wait. I was the last to be processed and, as I left, I expected to see some empty parking spaces outside. Not one! Clearly, these spaces are no longer allocated for 'Visitor Parking' as marked.
