HM Revenue and Customs promised to reply to my electronic submission within 7 working days and, yesterday, 7 working days later, they responded. I am very pleased to say that they agreed with my challenge. They confirmed that I do not have any further tax liabilities and my tax account was changed to reflect that. Excellent!
