Nothing is reaching this part of Surin in the eastern suburbs. It's find your own water supplies I am afraid. No red trucks today either. Is anyone in Surin getting water from your water works which is getting water from the quarry?
There is a hole being bored down the road. We should find out where the water table is from that bore.
No red trucks today either.
It is Sunday.
Although I saw a couple of pick-up delivery trucks pass by today. We are good for a few days yet.
And tomorrow is a holiday
Quite right, a lot of people are really pissed off with the local authorities. In the past 7 days we have had no water from the local authorities at all. Hardly surprising when you see all the red trucks queued up around the hospital. We have had 1 red truck which my wife's friend organised for our end of the soi. The truck came from Lam Duan, not Surin. The Governor of Surin still has not declared a Red Flag situation, he is still showing Green. He retires in 5 weeks time. My wife has been quite vocal in her response to the hospital appeal to donate water and bottled drinking water. I think words like "up yours" come to mind. We have had no water for over 7 days and we will look after ourselves first.
A lot of people are disappointed in the behavior of the hospital, responsible for the water of the province, including the blame for the social media of the director. The hospital is also disappointing. Pity, but the patient and the person in the hospital where he works with water restrictions...

Good luck!
SITREP - 12.45 and the drilling is ongoing. @Yorky please note, you will need at least 2,000 litres of water on hand to drill a well, if not 3,000 litres. We had to buy in 2,500 litres at short notice. Water was found at 10 metres down and we are about 2 metres above the level of the surrounding paddy fields. That portion of the well has been lined with 2" dia blue PVC piping. After 10 metres they hit 'rocks' or do they mean shale. Now they continue drilling down and they want to go to 40 metres in total. Yes, water is there at 10 metres or so but the good stuff is below 30 metres. That's the best I can tell you at the moment.

At least we now appear to have a definitive answer as the the level of the water table. This seems to concur with @Merlin who is probably located a couple of metres higher than us.
Do you have an additional 20 metres of 2" pipe (taps)?
