Have enjoyed the food and atmosphere there many times. Bei Otto is a terrific restaurant with great quality, flavor and proportions. Highly recommended. Easily the best German restaurant in Bangkok.

Regularly went there 15+ years ago whilst living in Pattaya. Had many good German friends in my early days - they were far more numerous than the Brits then. They would take me along almost as their mascot!

In the hood.
I was just outside there last night. I was staying in Sio 20 but move today up to Sio 10. 20 is 1/2 way between two BTS stations and Sio 10 is between Nana and Asoke so therefore closer to things.
I will PM you my number Alan maybe we can catch up for a beer.
