Surin is a better option for sure ,and close for the Mrs to visit family .
To many great guys fall into the BIG mistake of building in the village and after a while the novelty wears off , I'm more than sure when you met her if you had said ok "lets live in Surin city" she would be have been more than happy !
Just advice of someone who has lived out here for 13 years mate ..

i appreciate the advice guys.
im still looking and taking my time, im in a nice little rental for now.
maybe in time i will want to be closer to the city, time will tell.
my missus called that house you told me about Alan, as im in Malaysia
just now.
