Class 'O' visa 90 day stamp

Basically you will pay THB 1900 for a Single-Entry Visa and THB 3800 for the Multiple-Entry Visa. If for any reason you have to leave Thailand or you just want to take a trip and see the neighboring countries sights it makes sense to pay the extra THB 1900.
My understanding is there could be a hassle coming back to Thai if you have already used your Single-Entry Visa and have to "apply for another Single-Entry Visa"...meaning another application et al. Is my understanding correctly based ?

Sounds like you have a an extension to stay based on marriage or retirement which is not an O-visa.. What you have does qualify for a single or multi reentry permit. The O-multy does not.

Sorry for keeping my departurecard and erasing my passport number but this is what ive´got in my passport!

You are correct. I made that mistake once a few years ago and it is a pain in the arse. I had to go through the whole bureaucratic and costly process of redoing the retirement visa, again. If you are using a single-entry visa and have gone out of country, you will have to buy another single entry visa before traveling out of country, again.

Want to go trout fishing, Alan? Pity I passed in my runabout and dinghy with my previous marriage. You would have loved the holiday house by the sea.

I do like trout fishing with a fly Bill .
I'm catching quite a lot of snake head fish at the moment here had about 7 in the last couple of days :)

Plenty of space, but all inhabited by same same!

Nice to see different people, different cultures.

Were i come from people would be happy if they could come to this "spot" for a 2 week holyday or so but i maby change my mind after several years in LOS without leaving.

If i could apply for a lifetime visa with only a "single entry" i would not do so , now i can change it every year! 555

Nope, it got sold up and the cash shared. Was getting little use as we were both so involved with Thailand at every holiday opportunity. When we split, she remained working as principal of the Pattaya International School and I returned to Aus with the GF (now developed fully into the GL, following years of my rigorous training program).

Despite all your rigorous training, I imagine that being of Thai stock, the GL will never be as fully cultured as you Bill. Chokdee5

Confused about your costing on a single re-entry permit , last week i paid 1000 bhat for mine at KC, and today i`ve just returned from Siem Reap after a 3 day motorcycle tour with Free Life club ( 40 bikes )..crossed over at Chong Sa Ngam...Party5

Was a re-entry permit per person or as a group (of bikers) ?
The regulare fee is 1.900 for a single and 3.800 for a multiple.

I gave Co Co some miss info. Single re entry is 1000bt per person
No such thing as a group permit. Very little sleep over the last 6 days as im into the rice harvest. Sorry for that.

Bikers or other peeps have nothing to do with my re-entry permit...that is my sole responsibility as i`m on a retirement extension....1000 bhat for a single re-entry..I can scan and display my receipt if you are a non believer ....

However, you may or not be aware that there are discounts available for large numbers re. the Cambodian Visas for large groups ( maybe , co-co is aware of this, and it`s a perk for doing tours )..from Thailand to Cambodia..

Normally for one Cambodian visa it is 1100 baht or thereabouts .....
On this trip with the large number of people (Thai and Farrangs).....i paid only 800 bhat for my Cambodian visa...

Please note...i only quote the facts, and can back them up with paperwork...

(like one time when i was disbelieved when i stated i wasn`t paying tax on my UK derived Company Pension , which i then proved by paperwork)

pps..a good trip , and stayed at the Ankor City Hotel while in Siem Reap....and we had a great party hosted by the manager ( who is thai) of the In Touch Bar with live band and free drink all night....

Mango - nice guy at Chong sa Ngam and a relaxed border. He must have stressed seeing 40 bikers!

We paid US$25 by negotiation with. Great negotiation - the standard visa fee is $20!

We now use Chong Chom because the new road has improved the journey time. We hand over a $20 note and stand our ground.

Did the 1100 Baht include a surchage for the bike?
