I think you intended it pejoratively. If I'm wrong then I've learned a bit about your style.
I guess you may have learned about my style.
If I wanted to be derogatory I would be without hiding in the bushes.
I'm pretty straight forward if (and only when) I attack in writing.
I can be acerbic or considered satirical to help prove a point. I'll certainly admit to that.
I have called some by more definitive terms when in the heat of battle ---plain words in clear language.
Humbert, I know you as well as you know me in person. I have no bones to pick with you. I hope you can come to understand that.
Keep well in mind that British folk speak a different language then we Americans though I try to keep them clued in on the discussion as well.
I do not believe that I
ever have called anyone an arsehole, a f**kwit, an ass-licker, a coont, a mongoloid idiot etc - EVER on a forum though it's quite the vogue on TD.
Now back to the main point.
This is a thread about KCI. Sure everyone feels that they should just get a one-year visa without interference or the perceived "jumping through hoops".
(I too feel that I've got the money vested for years so what's the big deal. I'llplay by their rules until I don't want to play. Simple.)
I believe they're trying to catch those who are not really in a marriage and whom can not afford the higher freight requirements to make their extension based on retirement.
Sure, this is Thailand and we are NOT citizens.
Therefore I believe Thais do NOT like to be soundly criticized on an expat forum...and believe it or not - that is what the Forum is all about---fook this, fook that, stoopid people, la-di-dah.
So if you were the head of IMM and you read what is written by expats "who want to live in LOS" ---just WTF would you like to do ? Possibly a little payback to teach ya'all that you're lucky ...and don't ever forget it.
IMM can make life easy or it can make it tough. Right now it's tough at KCI.
If by any chance Mr Farang , that you don't like it - leave the country and then let us all know how much better it is living somewhere else.
Question: How many expats met their Thai wife while attending university in Thailand or abroad ?
