Are you talking about Coffee?Yes, the Maginot Line did come to mind although I was more interested in examining the rubble. The bits and pieces reminded me of the pictures sent back from Mars and I was looking for signs of an ancient civilization.
Understanding and following have 2 separate meanings. lol.. the last guy working for me got laid Khao at the end of the work day. Each day got shorter until he would just drop by and ask for his bottle.The real fun of remodeling is uncovering all the potential problems - really a DIYer's dream.

This area is the "valley" of the roof. Lots of info on doing proper valleys for ceramic tile roofs on Google..."There is a hole in my roof where the rain comes in"
I would like to think that a mortar-based seal, sand and cement, will keep the rain out but I somehow doubt it. Over time it will become brittle, crack and water will seep through. Surely the professional solution is to lift the tiles and insert a tin or stainless steel V-shaped 'gutter' underneath the tiles.
