What guys used to do in Koh Samui was buy land ,raise with soil,wait for the road to be put in ,divide into plots and put a well on each plot and make a good profit by selling the plots off. The only problem with this is your nice quiet house out of town now becomes like living on a small estate.:eek:

My mate two days ago got a one and a half Ria pond dug out on his five Ria ,the soil spread over two Rai to raise up the other area it cost 200.000 baht (Not cheap)
 
I was also searching for this idea to build a house and i get different ideas from your thread thanks you friend for your this great thread
