Just to clarify, Zeb, I assume you are talking about the new Sydney Canale in the OP rather than the digression that I was responsible for part way through Sorry2 ie. the old Sydney Seasons.

Be prepared - the waiters in aprons are surly.

I had the bbq ribs, caesar salad and garlic bread there. I enjoyed the salad, the ribs were not too bad. I would eat there again if I was in the neighborhood.
 
When I could not find the beach bar today found this place.
The ceasar salad was ok but small for the price.
I had fish and chips, the fish was the size of a fish finger with the smallest amount of cheap fries, the wife played safe with Thai food and said it was OK
I never post negative comments but on this experience I won't be back
