Re-surfacing a concrete drive

Just to add....that's why its called reinforced concrete.....but only when engineered correctly. If not its just concrete with a bit of steel in it....not very durable to heavy loads.
The recommended method is to have the reinforcement 25mm below the top an overall bed depth of 100mm of concrete for a driveway. And I mean decent reinforcement. You don't buy that by the roll. It comes as a heavy welded mesh sheet. Not so cheap but you'll get at least 30 years use out of it.
