Open and airy, I like that a lot.

Not open and hairy lol

That reminds meAlan, I was reading a post on PattayaAddics by someone we both know well and he was saying he liked his B/G's shaved and likes to give them a shave himself?? WTF

I always thought he was a bit of a wierdo, but that takes the ticket.

Nice home AtB..who's idea to use dark timber for the ceiling though?? No good for light reflection I would have (of) thought.

That's a good idea...they can leave the porch lights on at night then and no problem! The costumer is always right!

Not sure what your getting at mate , maybe if you seen the house you will see its not dark inside the ceilings are 3.5 meter high . Its not a small dark poky room its a massive open area with patio doors and windows all the way round .
And just in that room (living kitchen dinner ) there will be about 25 down lights all on dimmers .

Any way thanks for your input Robert , I do like all input Negative or otherwise ! ThumbUp6

It's a lovely home Alan. The kitchen is terrific and it has, as you say, an open feel and look. I then wondered why a dark wood ceiling was substituted for a white gypsum ceiling that would open it up even more. The bathroom vanity unit is what every home should have with the junk most women accumulate in the bathroom.
But as you explained, the owner wanted it and got it.

The doors , door frames ,skirting boards and in the living dinning room ceiling will all be a dark oak Color , there is a wood flooring in the master bedroom also.
All the wood is a little dark except the kitchen counter doors they will be a lighter Color for contrast .

Buity is in the eye of the beholder :)

We did not choose the tiles ether in the kitchen or in the bathrooms !

We also did not choose the house plan ether, the client designed the house himself .

I will post more picks in a week or so .
