Thai Law re: Soi Dogs

If the chickens are inside and the dogs initially are outside, whats to stop you planting some "tasty food" outside the chicken coop, for the dogs? Some CCTV would help if people are involved.

Because -ahem- 'Tasty Food" would likely attract more dogs.

I hesitate to discuss any "illegal" modifications to that food publicly and on a Thai Forum.

Interestingly, something similar was suggested to me by my neighbors (which surprised me). I suspect they are tired of dealing with this issue as well but would prefer the farang be taken away over one of their own. They said to just bury the bodies and don't tell anyone. Which I would never do.

"Spirit Offerings" are being left out in hopes the ancestors can help. Let's just say we are not leaving anything out that I would not eat myself and leave it at that.

Update:
Several, both alive and dead, were found in nearby fields. One survivor died last night making the current count 7 survivors, 3 missing, out of 44.

Added a 0.3-meter wall to the bottom of the fence. Just house siding screwed in place. Unfortunately, Wife either did not understand my request about tack welding the 1x2 square tubing to the bottom, or just purposely ignored it. Now with the wall in place you cannot weld it properly in multiple locations.

They attacked again last night. They didn't get in, but did try digging under the north face of the coop where the ducklings are. They also tore up some bamboo fencing that was propped against the east wall of the building. Bamboo was just trash and not protective, and the north side of the coop has a concrete floor under is.

That attempt did make me aware of a small thermal exhaust port that could... -that is to say, a weakness in my defenses. -sigh- I know dogs dug, but -brain fart- Calling the guy to put concrete flooring in the south run today and to prevent them from digging under there. Nothing fancy. Quick and dirty. But when he comes 'I' need to be there. She got confused and thought I wanted concrete where they had been digging and around the 'outside'. In the past I've suggested bricks in the run to keep the mud down, but she says she likes it muddy (She uses the mud in the garden) so she may be playing dumb again. SMH.

Going to have to run another wire on the elec fence a little higher. Currently have it crisscrossed at between 20 cm and 40 cm. Dogs pulled a panel off the coop about waist high. Didn't get inside but I had to screw the panel back into place. Now they're clawing through the walls?

This is getting ridiculous.

On the plus side, I'll be ready should the zombie hoards ever attack.
